Many an article has been written about the health benefits of having regular sex. We all know by now that sex can boost your immune system, clear your mind, relax you and even benefit your skin and hair. However, just recently a study was done in America that showed that morning sex in particular was even more beneficial.
Apparently morning sex, more than sex at other times of the day, increases the levels of an antibody called IgA, which protects you from infections. In a related study, scientists found that people who had sex once or twice a week had more IgA in their systems than people who had much less or much more sex. As well as being tested for IgA in their systems, test subjects were questioned about the length and satisfaction levels of the relationships they were in. The levels of IgA antibodies were increased in people who were in longer term relationships that they were happy with.
A further study in Ireland showed that having sex 2-3 times a week could halve the risk of heart attacks and strokes.
So if you want to stay in good shape this winter, plus reduce the risk of colds and much more, I recommend morning sex 1-3 times a week with someone you love. Just what the doctor ordered!
