World’s oldest sex toy ignited the flames of passion

Experts have determined that a phallus thought to be the oldest sex toy in the world really did ignite the flames of passion.

Not only was the siltstone relic used to provide sexual pleasure, it also doubled as a tool to light fires.

The 30,000-year-old object was discovered in several pieces in a cave in Germany before scientists put it back together.

Experts at the University of Tubingen said it featured carved rings around one polished end, making it easy to see what it was used for.

However, they also noticed marks which indicated that the prehistoric toy had been used for striking against flints.
