Sex on the brain? No, shopping!

It’s a common assumption that men think about sex every seven seconds, but what about women?

Well a new survey shows that almost seven out of ten girls have sex on the brain between five and ten times a day.

But while this adds up to a lot of raunchy thoughts, it seems sex just can’t compare with shopping, fashion website MyCelebrityFashion found.

Over 70 per cent of those women questioned said they think about retail therapy 30 times or more in a 24-hour period.

This means that on average, shopping crosses a girls mind three times more often than sex.

When asked which activity they’d rather partake in, some 58 per cent of women said they’d prefer a shopping trip over a bedroom session.

More than one fifth have even thought about buying that must-have pair of shoes or that trendy new dress while in the sack!

Commenting on the findings, Andy Barr, marketing director of MyCelebrityFashion, said: “If guys want to please their partners, perhaps they should be heading to the high street for a spot of shopping, not to the bedroom.”

A similar survey carried out by First magazine in 2007 came to the same conclusion – that women would rather go on a shopping trip than make love.

Of course girls could always combine the two by shopping for sex toys at!
