You have to feel sorry for the American student whose 42 page PowerPoint presentation titled ‘ An education beyond the classroom: excelling in the realm of horizontal academics’ went viral.
Karen Owens rated 13 student athletes that she had slept with and even put the results into bar graphs. Her evaluation process lists eight criteria for her sex rating system: physical attractiveness, size, talent, creativity, aggressiveness, entertainment, athletic ability, and a bonus category for undefinable chemistry. Canadian athletes got a negative bonus point. Her report ends as all good thesis do, in a summary of all that proceeded: an official list rating for each of the thirteen athletes, poor fellows.
She then emailed it to three of her ‘friends.’ At least one of the three friends she originally sent the ‘sex list’ to sent it on to someone else, who repeated that action and so on.
Owen told the website Jezebel.com that she regrets making the presentation “with all my heart” and “I would never intentionally hurt the people that are mentioned on that.”
