If you want a man who’s good in bed, your best bet is to bag yourself a Geordie.
That’s right, it may be colder up north, but a survey of 2,000 women has shown that men from the north-east of England are hot stuff in the bedroom.
According to the poll, carried out by casual dating website Forget Dinner, Geordies are the best lovers in the country.
They beat men from London and the south-east, Scotland and Wales, securing 21 per cent of the vote.
By comparison, just two per cent of women thought guys from Yorkshire were best in the sack.
They said men from the Tyne Tees region were attentive in bed, which may explain why they took the top spot.
Men from London were seen as eager to please, while those from Scotland are deemed to be manly.
At the other end of the scale, women thought guys from the north-west would rather watch football, those in the Borders are too quick and those from Yorkshire are lazy.
But whatever region your man comes from, you can relax in the knowledge that, according to researchers at Utrecht University, British blokes last longer in bed than their European counterparts.
