Actor and director Eli Roth has revealed that he worked as an online sex operator when he was in college to pay for his student films.
The Inglorious Basterds star told PopWrap magazine that Penthouse paid him to chat to men on the internet, posing as a woman named Tami.
“They hired guys because guys know what other guys want to hear,” he explained.
Men would pay per minute to talk to his female alter ego and there were even advertisements for sex chat with her in magazines.
“Tami was a heavy metal chick who had a gang bang with Guns N’ Roses and Poison in one night,” Eli confessed.
Because it was 1991, he said his clients were all doctors or scientists, as they were they only ones using the web at the time.
As well as starring alongside Brad Pitt in Quentin Tarantino’s Inglorious Basterds, Eli has also written and directed movies such as Hostel and Cabin Fever.
