I’m new here. Like, really new. I’ve been blogging about filth, feminism, and sexual fuck-ups at girlonthenet.com for nearly three years, and now the excellent SexToys.co.uk has asked me to write some regular posts here.
I thought my first post would be a good opportunity to round up some of my favourite things from this blog, to give you an idea of the sort of filth you can expect from me, and get your thoughts on the kind of posts you’d like to see here in the future. I promise you, almost nothing you request will shock me, although I hope at least one of you sees that as an interesting challenge…If you, like me, are here for the first time, or if you want a refresher of what’s happened over the last few months, here are some awesome Vibe articles to get you started…
There is almost nothing sexier than a guy talking about his masturbatory habits. I’m serious. One of my favourite conversations is the one I have with my partner when I come back from a few days away, where I quiz him in-depth on exactly the kind of wanks he had while I was gone. What did you watch? How often did you do it? Where did you come?Because the idea of a guy coming hard into a balled-up pair of soft-cotton boxers is more beautiful than anything I’ve ever seen in porn. And so it was with great delight, and much quivering arousal that I read this article, by Alex Parker, on his favourite male masturbators.
This blog – and I cannot stress this enough – contains a picture of butt-naked marines posing with their guns. Need I say more? I fucking hope not. Here they are with clothes on – click through for butt-nakedness.
What is it about pony play that is so hot? I have no idea. It’s one of those fetishes, like foot fetishes, that I don’t personally do, but I sort of wish I did.
Perhaps it’s the saddles and harnesses all the BDSM-style acoutrements. Perhaps it’s the riding crops, or the idea of a guy fucking me while he pulls on a bridle. Maybe it’s the idea of being used and trained as if I were an actual animal… OK, it’s definitely a combination of all of those things.
So naturally my eye was drawn pretty sharply to this excellent blog, showing a selection of filthy-hot rocking horses decorated like pony play girls. Not only are they deeply hot, and the kind of furniture that would raise eyebrows if anyone came to my house, the fact that they come in flat-pack makes them even more appealing. Because if there’s one thing I love more than embracing fetish, it’s weekend projects.
As far as sex blogging is concerned, this article right here is the money shot. What’s the biggest problem with sex and sex writing these days? Why, in my opinion it’s the fact that, in order to write honestly and openly about how I love being tied up and face-fucked, or this one time a guy pissed on me in the bath, I pretty much have to remain anonymous. Because for some reason sex is something that is supposed to disgust us. Something weird and dirty and wrong, which we should hide behind closed doors and whisper about, rather than embrace and enjoy for the sweaty, sticky, joyous fun that it genuinely is.
There are a fair few sexy things about sexual taboos – fucking often feels better with a side-order of guilt, or the heart-thumping, clit-throbbing arousal that comes from doing something you know your Mum would never approve of. But ultimately this kind of taboo can leave us really fucked up – believing some very odd things about sexual desire and consent, because we’ve been hearing and learning about it via whispered conversations and porn.
If there’s one thing I’d like to bring to the internet, and one surefire way to make the world a better place, it’s more openness and honesty about our desires. After all – humans are weird and fucked up and cruel to each other on an almost daily basis, so why not make the most of the love where we find it?
On that rather Jerry Springer note, I’ll sign off, but with a shoutout to those who spread the love on a daily basis. If you’re one of them, please do get in touch either in these comments or with me on Twitter, and let me know if there are any particular topics you’d like to see more of. Don’t be shy – it’s for the good of humanity.
