Jimmyjane Form 3 Pink

The Form 3 was the first JimmyJane vibrator I have tried. It's definitely one I consider unique. For a start it's a really odd shape - somewhere between computer mouse and tongue. It's about four inches long, sort of oval with a fat base and a thin flexible top. It's completely body-safe, made of medical-grade, phthalate-free silicone that feels soft to the touch. The thin end is a flexible membrane, the fatter end contains the rechargeable battery.

The promotional videos tell you the Form 3 is designed to amplify touch, you press against the thin flexible area and the vibrations focus where you touch. It sounds simple, but actually it was very difficult to hold onto the vibrator and press through the membrane at the same time. I found my hand very quickly began to ache. My partner tried using it on me and found the same. It just didn't work as it was supposed to.

However, if you ignore the amplified touch feature, the Form 3 is very usable - there's a stiffer rim around the membrane which amplifies the vibrations nicely and feels fantastic, and the whole body vibrates so it can be used in your palm like any of the egg shaped vibes. It's also great for using during sex - the thin part sits comfortably between two bodies and definitely adds a buzz to the proceedings. It's completely waterproof and nicely quiet so you can play anywhere.

The vibrations of the Form 3 are pretty powerful. It's easy to control and the five power levels and four vibration modes give you plenty to play with. The Form 3 is easily rechargeable, you just sit it on the base and plug the base into the wall. You do have to make sure it's standing correctly which may take a bit of wiggling, but there's no poking leads into holes and there's a handy light to show that charging is in progress. It takes about two hours to charge completely and for that you get about seven hours of play time. When you've finished, it's easy to clean, nice smooth curves and no problem cracks or creases to harbour nasty germs.

Overall, I found the Form 3 was quite a versatile toy, it had many of the benefits of a bullet vibe, a palm vibe and a couples vibe in a single toy. It's an interesting concept and it's nice to see that JimmyJane are making good quality toys while trying out new ideas and shapes. I'd certainly be interested in seeing what other designs they come up with.
