Tickling is a form of sensory stimulation that can be used in conjunction with foreplay. I discarded this outer box into my recycling. After removal of the outer box you will find a sturdy black box with LELO etched into the centre of the lid. This box, resembling the looks of a black jewellery gift box but much sturdier, shouldnt catch the attention of unsuspecting prying eyes. Once you have opened the box you unveil the Tantra Tickler, which is gently resting in delicate folded tissue paper. When removing the tickler from the box a few strands from the feathers gently drifted away from the product. This is expected when first unpacking the tickler, and has not impeded its functionality or beauty. Since the initial removal of the tickler I have not experienced any other stray branches come loose from the feather shafts.

The tickler I picked is black; I chose this colour as I felt it would accompany outfits such as a maid uniform if desired. The handle is made from sturdy acrylic and metal. I doubt it would tarnish or fall apart easily. Etched into the smoked black acrylic section is the brand name ‘LELO’, which has been done very professionally and acts as a form of grip when holding. At the top of the handle is a bulbous piece of hollow metal which helps in controlling the movements made with the tickler. Due to the tip of the handle being metal you could use it as a way of varying your sensory play, by gliding it over your partners body; it will feel slightly cold at first but will warm quickly.

There are many feathers fixed firmly into the handle. Due to natural variations I’m certain every Lelo Tantra will be individualistic, making it feel more special than a mass-produced sex toy. When removing from the box the feathers will fluff up and span out from the centre of the handle. Each feather is contoured differently, so every stroke with the tickler will vary.

Tickling sensations can be produced in many ways even with the Tantra Tickler. When tickling is used as a form of arousal within a couple it can be seen as a very intimate experience. If your partner withdraws when you are tickling them and you wish to use it as a form of arousal, I suggest you both take your time in learning how gentle or firm your partner enjoys the strokes.
