Utopia Rabbit

This rabbit is much more advanced than my first one, so I'm going to start by saying that there are so many combinations of settings that it would take me a long time to get to know them all!

My first impressions were good (other than the colour and the funny face on the back!), so I was eager to try the toy. The whole toy is just over 11" long, and the insertable portion of the rabbit from the base of the rabbit 'body' to the tip - is 6". Batteries aren't included, and it is the first of my toys which takes six AA batteries, all my others take AAA. For the chemically-conscious, this toy is phthalates free!

The toy itself is pretty good. The two different sizes of beads are designed to stimulate different areas of the vagina. However, I found the smaller beads weren't very effective. They were intended to stimulate the vagina entrance, but they move with the thrusting bigger beads, so don't sit in the place I wanted them. The bigger beads were very good. I could feel them and I felt they stimulated better than the smaller ones. Thrusting toys are very new to me, so if you are new to them like me, then these are a nice introduction. The thrust looks a lot when you turn it on outside the body, but it is reasonable when inside. It's no comparison to the real thing, but for what it was, I liked it.

As the box says, there are 6 modes of rotating, thrusting beads and 6 modes of pulsating clitoral stimulator (the rabbit ears). The beads spin in different directions and thrust at different rates depending on what setting you have it on and the rabbit ears pulsate in different patterns and vibrate at different speeds. The variety on this toy was good, as it allowed for different combinations.

My biggest issue with this toy and why I'm marking it down slightly is the display/controls. First the thing I noticed when I turned it on was the buttons are not easy to press. They're flat buttons, but to turn them on, you have to press firmly. They are not buttons you can quickly flick on. This makes it awkward to turn off in a hurry. Also, another downside is the way the makers decided to use the controls. For the beads the button pad is on the left; they have the on button at the top, and this doubles as the button used to go up through the different modes. To turn it off, you have to press the bottom button to go back down through the modes. This was awkward for me, as I get sensitive after orgasm, so it was a choice of removing the moving toy, or suffering some sensitivity as I began the process of turning it off.

In the middle of the control panel, there is a column of lights, which tell you which mode you're on. It starts at the bottom as blue, and each mode you go up, the next light up comes on. They change in colour per light, until you get to red at the top. This somewhat confused me as a feature; I'm not going to see the lights when this is between my legs!

The button pad for the rabbit ears made more sense; the top button was both the on and the off switch and the bottom button was to scroll through the modes. I still had the issue with not very easy to press buttons. There is also a light at the bottom of the control panel which flashes in time with the mode of the ears, so you have a visual representation of the mode you're using...which also made no sense.

Overall, this isn't a bad toy. The actual function of the toy itself is just what I expected from a rabbit. The big letdown was the controls, as I want something easy to operate. No one wants to heavily concentrate on attempting to operate the toy they're trying to get pleasure from.

I'm giving this 3 out of 5. If the makers decide to update this a bit, in line with my issues, then it would get a four.
