L'Amour Premium Silicone Weighted Pleasure Balls

J'adore L`amour!

Having only ever experienced much cheaper Kegel balls (The type that are made completely of plastic except for the nylon retrieval cord) I was determined to finally invest in a decent Kegel exerciser! After falling in love with the look of these and reading the overwhelmingly positive reviews I made up my mind that these were the ones for me. The L`amour pleasure system Kegel balls arrived packaged in a simple clear plastic box with no sexual imagery. On the front of the box the item is described as a premium weighted pleasure system.


Each Kegel ball is made of hard plastic and 2 ½ inches long and 4 ½ inches in circumference. The total insertable length (both balls inserted) is around four and a half inches and the silicone retrieval cord is four inches long.

Use:

Once removed from their packaging the first thing I noticed about these was the deep rumbling movement coming from inside the balls as each contain another balls which moves around inside it and almost creates a feeling of slow vibrations within. If you shake them in your hand the movement within can be easily heard but when used as intended I luckily didn't find them to be audible. The second thing I noticed about these is that the balls are completely made of plastic with only the retrieval cord and the cord joining the two balls being made of silicone (I had expected the plastic balls to be coated in silicone) The silicone cord of the toy is suprisingly stretchy and feels strong and unlikely to break. The plastic balls are mainly very smooth but have textured sides which have grooves that I feel might be difficult to properly clean after use.

Being made of such smooth plastic these kegel balls are easy to insert even for 'petite' women like myself. Using a small amount of water based lubes helps if needed. Never use a silicone based lubricant with a silicone toy. I would particularly avoid using a silicone lube with this just in case it might affect or weaken the cord of this toy. Once inserted I found these are comfortable, stay in place and create a pleasant sensation almost like a low vibration inside.

Cleaning/Care:

Being made of plastic and silicone these have a material safety rating of eight and are Food-grade material, Non-porous, Hypo-allergenic and Latex and Phthalates free. These can be easily cleaned with antibacterial soap and hot water. There are slight grooves down the sides of these balls so extra attention is needed to ensure these are properly cleaned. I would recommend using a water based lubricant with this if one is needed. To keep my L`amour pleasure system Kegel balls dust free between use I keep them in a zip-sealed bag.

Pros: Rumbling sensation from inner balls, long stretchy silicone retrieval cord, smooth plastic makes insertion easy.

Cons: Slight grooves down the sides of plastic balls which makes proper cleaning difficult

Summary: Overall I think feel were a very worthwhile purchase. The size and smooth material of these balls makes them easy to insert and wear comfortably and I love the generous length of flexible and stretchy retrieval cord.
