Very quiet but once placed in the water became noisier, the closer it got a surface in the bath the louder it got. This hit a few different spots I thought it wouldn't, it's definitely something you would use on your own as is very small and can be difficult to get in the right position to stimulate your clit. It could do with a bigger tail fin in my opinion and a little easier to turn on but was very good.
