This small anal vibrator boasts 10 "exciting" functions, and claims to be "all you'll ever need for brilliant bum fun"

Taking it out of the packaging, my first impression was that it looked completely non-threatening, as you'd expect from a ''First" toy. The slim, gently contoured pink shaft looks almost friendly, as though it wants your first anal experience to be good and gentle...

The toy comes in two parts, presumably for ease of washing - the shaft is attached to a wire, which plugs into the control unit. The controls themselves are very simple, with one button for on/off, and another to cycle through the 10 functions, which are handily listed on the back of the controller.

For some reason, the toy flashes in rhythm with the vibration, which struck me as a little odd since the light isn't visible during use! Still, it does no harm. The hard plastic surface of the vibe holds lube very well, unlike some materials which seem to drink the stuff, so it didn't take much at all to get started. Insertion was a little uncomfortable, due to the rigidity of the material - I certainly knew if I got the wrong angle!

The functions are sensibly ordered, as they slowly build in intensity as you cycle through them. It took a couple of tests to figure this out, rather than going straight for one of the most intense functions! The OH also had a go, but still isn't sure about the idea of anal play. He is willing to keep trying with this one though, which certainly says something about the product!

The toy can be incorporated into sex with relative ease, although keeping the wire out of the way can be a little tricky. In this use, it is apparently very good for the man when used by the woman, as it gives him pleasing vibrations. Didn't do so much for me though.

It really came into its own when used solo in combination with a fairly solid dildo. The vibrations are strong enough to make the dildo vibrate as well, and somehow it manages to be in the perfect spot. Normally I'm very quiet solo, but the neighbours got to know about this time!

The only criticisms I have of this product are that the material is rather rigid, which can cause discomfort initially, and the material also seems to hold onto smell. It takes an overnight soak in soapy water, followed by cleaning with antibacterial cleaner, to get rid of the distinct smell that it gains during usage.

Overall, I'd give this a 7/10 - although good for the beginner, and great solo, it is a little uncomfortable, and it takes some doing to get it clean afterwards.
