I love this toy to use vaginally in preference to anally as I love the thickness of the twist and that you can hold the silver base so the T-piece transfers the vibrations to my clit and anus. Similar to a double rabbit style vibe. This worked well for me which surprised me as I usually need very powerful vibrations but because of the shape and extra T pieces it felt amazing.
I couldn't actually feel the twist textures on the toy, but many of you are more sensitive to textures than I am.
For extra sensitivity and slip I used my favorite water-based lube as its a TPR rubber so not to damage the toy.

Vibrations
The button is a well defined click with a one speed vibration which is quite fast and a little buzzy, it is slightly quieter than a shaver and you cant hear it through our bedroom door, so its very discreet.
You can take this with you into the bath or shower and I feel with the water or a radio on no one would hear you, depending how loud you get though...!!

Anally
Anally this toy has the perfect tapered head for insertion (with plenty of lube). This is the widest toy I have tried anally (as I do not own many anal toys as of yet). The vibrations definitely helped with relaxation enabling me to insert a little way.

Never insert an anal toy into your vagina after using it anally or you may transfer bacteria and cause unnecessary problems, always clean and sterilise well in-between if your are using it vaginally too.

Cleaning
The Royal twist washes easily under warm soapy water or while in the bath or shower, paying attention to the twists, then use your sextoy cleaner.

Conclusion
I was really impressed with the Royal twist as I don't own many specific anal toys and found it really comfortable the vibrations felt good inside and my OH loved it when I was wearing this as he could feel the vibes well.
Vaginally I loved the thickness and the T-piece stimulated my clit too, the vibes weren't as strong as I generally like for vaginal and clit toys but they still felt great and it was a great warm-up to then use it anally.
This is a great beginners 2 in 1 toy as the vibes are good and I loved the girth of the toy for both vaginal and anal penetration.If you are new to anal toys the head is beautifully tapered to insert to where you are comfortable and those of you that love anal toys will enjoy the tapered twisted girth.

This is a tidy little vibrator with a sleek design and a fair amount of kick to the motor.

Looks:

First off, this toy isn't quite as garish as it may look from the product photo, being more a soft purple than the bright, metallic sheen shown. It looks professionally made, and while me and my partner (female and male respectively) had reservations about the sharp-looking circle at the bottom of the metallic handle, the two large 'horns' at the side make sure this never becomes an issue.

Vibration:

Once I scrabbled about for a AAA (don't forget this, folks!) I found that the motor had a reasonably impressive strength to it. It's not going to rock your world, but it's strong enough to make it's presence felt even if you have other things going on simultaneously. The motor is quiet enough to be unobtrusive, though if you're looking for a naughty secret for outside escapades, you're probably better off looking elsewhere. I expect thicker clothes may help in a pinch, a few layers of tights would probably muffle it quite nicely. But in of itself, this toy has a discreet-but-noticable sound.

As someone who'd previously only tried inanimate plugs, I found the vibration to be pleasantly surprising. It adds an extra dimension to the usual "Oh, there's something in my butt, how novel" feel, and even after orgasm it's quite pleasurable (as opposed to some toys which you want out now as soon as you're finished...)

The downside of this motor is that initially it can be quite lethargic. It can take 5 seconds or so to work itself up to it's maximum strength, and during that period it can dither a bit before it decides what it's doing. This initially made my boyfriend think it's a multi-speed toy (alas!).

Shape & Feel:

The corkscrew ripple effect is nice, and gives the toy an additional pull for those anal-fiends who may find it's newbie-friendly size mundane. It makes it feel more interesting going in than a normal plug of it's size, and adds some more playful options than a purely smooth vibe would. The ripples are deep enough to be noticed while going in, but not deep enough to make cleaning it a chore. On that note, I found that it remains waterproof when scrubbed under a tap. I've not tested it in the shower yet, but I would imagine it remains similarly steadfast. Make sure that you screw it tightly shut when adding/changing batteries to keep it that way!

Through experimentation we found that it doesn't reach his prostate, but it's still a pleasurable, comfortable anal experience. One problem we did find is that due to the shape, it's uncomfortable if not impossible to sit down with, adding another issue for any who want to use this plug outside of the bed.

The texture is an unobtrusive rubbery feel. I'm not sure about the 'softness of velvet' that it advertises, but it feels different from the sheen rubber you may be used to from other plugs. It doesn't make any difference going in, but it makes it feel a little more intimate and organic, rather than the cold, slick alien invader sensation that many plugs seem to have (especially if you're a newbie to such things). This is another plus point for those looking for a good entry-level anal toy.

Overall:

This plug does everything it promises for a competitive price. Once the motor's woken up it has no problem providing consistent stimulation. The size means that it's welcoming to those with little or no previous experience, without sacrificing stability (what's worse than a toy falling out by itself?) or sensation. It provides you with a comfortably full feeling without stretching, making you aware of it's presence without feeling like a monstrous intrusion. The vibration is firm and consistent, and combines with the fullness of the plug to make for a very pleasurable experience.
